Andrew Burgess: Vocals, guitar
When Andrew Burgess sits down to write a song, he keeps three principles gleaned from Hemingway in mind:
- Lack of communication
- Loss of control
- Unexpected violence
Andrew’s been playing guitar and singing for 11 years in various incarnations. You can hear some of his solo stuff here. His favorite season is Fall; his favorite movie is Annie Hall; his favorite beer is PBR. He kind of maintains an amateur photography blog, [view://finder], and is an avid travel enthusiast. He’s planning to spend some time in Vegas this fall, if you’d like to come along.
Justin de la Cruz: Guitar, vocals
How To Successfully Write A Brief Personal Biography For Your Band To Use On Its Site:
First, start off with your roots: Where do you come from? Tip: If you were born in Ohio, say you’re from “The Great Lakes Region.” If you grew up in Melbourne, FL, say you’re from the “Space Coast.” If you currently reside in Tallahassee, refer to it as part of “The Big Bend Area.” Secondly, we’ll need a little quirky tidbit of information from you. Do you collect stamps? Is there a clever pun in your stage name? Are you currently running a Cam-Pain to get a “rappa ternt sanga” elected as the next president of your university? Lastly, you’ll want to put down how long you’ve been playing your instrument(s) or if you’ve been in other bands. You’re allowed a little flexibility in this area. For example, you may put “I’ve been playing guitar and writing songs for ~7 years” as long as it’s really at least 5 years. And you don’t have to mention anything about that cover band you were in that one time. Good luck! With these tips, you can surely write that Pulitzer Prize-winning bio you’ve always been meaning to write!
Tim Linafelt: Bass, backing vocals
Tim Linafelt started playing guitar in the fall of 2000, but he recently graduated to the bass. Originally from the Central Pennsylvania area, Tim moved to Florida a while back, and has been staying out of trouble ever since. You probably didn’t see him in any of his previous bands which included ska-punk outfit The Go-Bots, and the 50s sockhop revivalists Jonny Rockit and the Blastoffs.
Matt Littlefield: Drums
Matt Littlefield plays the hell out of the drums. That’s really all we know about him…
